Equities constituted the highest allocation for the second time in Japanese HNWIs’ financial portfolio at 32.2%, while cash and cash equivalents constituted 30.5% of the portfolio. They allocated the balance of their portfolios to fixed income (13.4%), real estate (13%), and alternative investments (10.9%).
